Algebra 1
In Algebra 1 my teacher is Mrs. Martinez. We have been going over the basics of Algebra 1 in her class. We mostly do worksheets in her class. While we do the classwork/homework she goes over it with us to make sure we understand the subject. In the first quarter of the year we did the One Step Equation Project. Koby and I included pictures for each of the slides. We had one step equations on each of our slides. We presented to 4th graders and most of the 4th graders liked it.

Date of Reflection: 10/25/19
Title of Project: One Step Equations
Description of Project: This project was to show our knowledge on how to do one step equations.
Course: Algebra 1
Teacher: Mrs. Martinez
1. How does this project demonstrate what you have learned? Describe the process you went through to create this project and what you learned along the way.
On this project I learned to do one step equations and how to illustrate on a computer. The process I went through to create this project was first I had to do my storyboard. After that I had to get it approved by Mrs. Martinez. After that I typed slides. Finally we did the illustrations. What I learned was how to do one step equations and how to illustrate on a computer.
2. How could this work be improved? If you could redo this project, what improvements would you make?
This work could be improved if I proof read the problems more thoroughly.
3. How might this knowledge or skill help you in the future? Describe when and how you would use the skills learned from doing this project.
This knowledge will help me when I do my test this month with one step equations.
4. List the 21st Century Skills you used during this project and explain how you used each of them.
I used Interpersonal Skills and Thinking and Problem Solving skill because I had to be able to do this project with a partner. I also had to do my math problems correctly.
Even though my new Algebra is Ms. Jeanie. I'm going to choose a project from 2nd quarter. This project they had us create an image that represents our hero. I decided to do Jimi Hendrix. I tried my best with my project.

Title of Project: Desmos Project
Description of Project: This project was to show our knowledge on our hero and on graphing.
Course: Algebra 1
Teacher: Mrs. Martinez (for this project)
1. How does this project demonstrate what you have learned? Describe the process you went through to create this project and what you learned along the way.
On this project I learned how to graph points using linear equations and quadratic equations. The process I went through to create this project was to insert numbers and make a line. I did a lot of trial and error.
2. How could this work be improved? If you could redo this project, what improvements would you make?
This work could be improved if I knew how to plot points better.
3. How might this knowledge or skill help you in the future? Describe when and how you would use the skills learned from doing this project.
This knowledge will help if I use linear of quadratic equations to graph.
4. List the 21st Century Skills you used during this project and explain how you used each of them.
Thinking and Problem Solving skill because I had to insert numbers into the equations to plot the lines so I could graph.
